WOOFSTOCK'S MASTER OF CEREMONIES
BOB RUDY

Bob Rudy with his canine family
Taj (Afghan Hound), Maggie Mae (Black Lab), Rudy (Lab/Pit mix), Maggie (Irish Setter)
Bob Rudy is host of Woofstock for the 6th straight year. Bob has emceed events for many central Pennsylvania charities over the past 30 years, especially those that benefit children and animals. Bob’s love for animals brought him together with his wife, Dr. Debra S. Vredenburg-Rudy. Bob was working on an area radio station where his job also included hosting a public affairs show. He heard about the non-profit organization that Debra started called “Pet Guardians” and invited her to be on the show. They immediately became friends, then best friends and as of May 31, 2008, husband and wife. That’s why Bob is pictured with four dogs, including one named “Rudy” and two “Maggies.” This canine step-family had a few minor issues at first, but eventually worked things out, and now play together. Bob and Debra take all four dogs for walks along the rural country roads in Lancaster County where they live. The only confusion that remains is when they yell for Maggie…both Maggies come running!
