Teaching Your Dog Self Control:
Dog Scout Mini-Workshops at Woofstock
This year, the Dog Scouts will be holding mini-workshops on Teaching Your Dog Self-Control.
Does your dog think that the best way to get where he wants to go is… well… yanking you toward it and pulling you off your feet?
If your dog sees a child with a lollipop, does he think stealing that snack for himself is “as easy as taking candy from a baby?”
….then help is on the way from the Dog Scouts!
Bring your dog, and join us in one of several mini-workshops we’ll hold at our booth throughout the day covering exercises and games that will teach your dog “self control” – a foreign concept in the canine world that our dogs are just *not* born with.
Find out how to use positive training to show your dog that the BEST way to get what he wants is to be polite. Watch as the “lights go on” for the dogs in just minutes, and learn how continuing to play these games at home can produce the well-mannered pooch you’ve always dreamed of. It’s not magic… it’s positive training!
Sign up for one of our workshops at the Dog Scouts of America booth!
