...from the undulating hill region of Pennsylvania near the Appalachian Trail presents "Mountain Folk" music, 
his name for a fusion of Alpine and Appalachian/Bluegrass mountain music.  His combination of enthusiasm for both yodeling and Alpine outdoor
sports gives his music a robust passion!  His (Dave's) yodels are earnest, learned...he has yodeled for audiences throughout Europe and the United States....

He is a band leader, guitarist, banjoist and vocalist and an award-winning songwriter. He has been active in performing and promoting Bluegrass, Appalachian and Mountain Music for more than 25 years.  Dave has been broadcasting on commercial radio stations for over 25 years. He is the host and producer of the weekly Mountain Folk Radio & Web Show.  A voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, Dave has produced music for radio, CDs, television, live theater, commercial jingles and custom corporate musical images.  In the past he has actually played banjo in a band for Minnie Pearl, has opened for Roy Clark, Elisabeth Von Trapp, Rhonda Vincent, The Kendall’s, Charlie Daniels, and has appeared in concert in the same lineup as such Bluegrass stars as Bill Monroe, Ralph Stanley, and many others.  Founder of Mountain Laurel Records and Productions, Dave has toured in the USA and Europe playing his style of Mountain Folk Music  which is often times a blend of Appalachian and Alpine traditions.
