CPAA's Grateful Dog Walk is a leisurely stroll along the beautiful Susquehanna River through Harrisburg's Riverfront Park. The walk will begin on the City Island side of the Walnut Street walking bridge and take less than an hour to complete. Water stations will be available along the route to all participants.

Even if you're dogless, you can still hound your friends and family for donations for this great cause, take part in the walk and possibly fall in love with an adoptable pooch from one of the rescues and shelters.

Participants who choose to leave their paw prints on the entire route will finish at the Walnut Street walking bridge on Front Street and help kick off WoofStock, CPAA's version of a doggie love in. Bring a blanket and relax with your best friend. Listen to some good ole' rock n' roll or get down to country tunes from some of Pa's grooviest bands. Enter your pooch in one of the contests, or sit back and enjoy the festivities.

The Grateful Dog Walk and WoofStock are fundraisers to benefit CPAA's member organizations and CPAA's DeSex in the City Spay/Neuter and Vaccine Program. The registration fee alone won't make the walk a success, please download a pledge form now and start fetching donations today!
