Travel Information

From I-83
Follow I-83 and take Exit 43 (Capitol/Second Street). Go four lights to Market Street and turn left onto Market Street/Bridge. Halfway across Bridge you will see a sign for City Island. Turn right into City Island with parking lots adjacent to both sides of the bridge.

FROM I-81
Follow I-81 and get off at the Front Street South. At Market Street, turn right onto the bridge. Halfway across the bridge you will see a sign for City Island. Turn right into City Island with parking lots adjacent to both sides of the bridge.

FROM THE Pennsylvania Turnpike
Get off the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) at Exit 242 (Harrisburg West). Take the ramp for I-83 North toward Harrisburg. Stay on I-83 (to the right) when the road splits with 581. After the split with 581, you will cross a bridge. Toward the end of the bridge, take Exit 43 (Capitol/Second Street) on right. Stay straight on Second Street through the light until you come to Market Street. At Market Street, make a left and go through the light at Front Street. Shortly over the bridge you will be able to view City Island with parking on both sides of the bridge.

FROM ROUTE 322
Follow 322 towards I-83 South. Once on I-83, exit at the Second Street ramp and go straight through the light. When you reach the light at Market Street, you will want to make a left. Go through the light at Front Street, and onto the Bridge. From there, you will see City Island on your right with parking available on both sides of the Bridge.
